A protected area
With almost 153 hectares, the Crano moors are an exceptional natural area overlooking the Blavet. The Crano is aptly named after the hot rock. Here, the fauna and flora have adapted to this dry environment made up of grose, sloes and ferns. Numerous birds can be observed here, such as the pitchou warbler, the melodious linnet and the European sparrowhank. The red fox shares the moods with the wild rabbit, the weasel or the green lizard.
The site is listed as a "Natural Zone of Faunistic and Floristic Interest" and is the subject of preservation and observation actions.
A hiking trail « Le circuit des landes du Crano » allows you to explore this natural area.
